HARDING TOWNSHIP

Police Community Information Service

The Harding Township Police Department has joined a Community Information Service designed to deliver important and timely information to residents in our area by web, e-mail, and/or SMS text message (cell phone).  This service is created and operated by Nixle LLC. To make effective use of this system, you must register at www.nixle.com.  When you successfully "Sign up now", will be able to see messages posted by the Harding Township Police Department at the "Home" tab.

Because Nixle relies on address resolution from several sources, some of which contain errors for Harding Township residences, the sign up procedure may not provide the desired results.  If you have difficulty registering, please click here for more detailed instructions.  Please let us know if you have difficulty registering (Contact Us).

Electrical Utility information

In light of the considerable inconvenience occassioned by the recent power outages from Hurricane Irene and the early fall snowstorm of 29-Oct, there has been much discussion of options for distribution of electrical power.  Residents may find this article useful in this discussion.

Residents are reminded that compliments or complaints about the conduct of utilities in the recent extreme weather events are best directed to the NJ Board of Public Utilities [BPU;609-777-3300 or http://www.nj.gov/bpu/].  The specific link for a complaint filing is http://www.state.nj.us/bpu/assistance/complaints/inquiry.html.
