What are the responsibilities/mission of the Tax Assessor?
This office is responsible to maintain assessment value on all real property within Harding Township. The Mission of the Tax Assessor is to maintain a fair and equitable tax base for the community based on sound assessment practices. The plan is to treat all property types and owners impartially.
Wednesdays 8:00 am – 10:00 am, or by appointment.

Tax Deduction Programs:
- Veterans (Widow or Widower)
- Senior Citizens (Surviving Spouse of a Senior Citizen)
- Disabled Persons (Surviving Spouse of a Disabled Person)

Change of Address:
Changes of address must be in writing, and submitted to the Tax Assessor’s office.
Assessment Appeal Due Date:
April 1st, of tax year to appeal assessment.
Example: April 1, 2015, is the due date to appeal the assessment for the tax year 2015.
